Change Making in the Adaptation Landscape

Tom Downing recently gave a stimulating seminar at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder; opening the RAL Seminar Series there. He presented GCAP's approach to adaptation with a focus on the inter-space between decision making and information on climate-impacts-vulnerability.

Framing adaptation as a socio-institutional process, in a metaphor of navigating a complex landscape, he opened up notions of resilience and transformation of adaptive pathways. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/spa/55toh861wn7vgnh/Exports/AdaptationX%20Journeys%20v3/AdaptationX%20Journeys%20v3.html

Tom was a post-doc at NCAR and said that 'it was great to catch up with many friends and colleagues in the adaptation community'.
